Jump because... "I completed the AFF course today at Skydive City & did my first Solo Skydive! That called for a very enthusiastic Jump ;-D Jump #14, solo. No instructors sitting behind me in the plane walking thru the jump... my yoga breathing came into play here. Ommmmm....When the other 15 skydivers left the plane, I was @ the door & looked back at the emptiness & green light... There's no turning back. The wee self preserving part of my brain was trying to tell me to sit back down & put my seat belt on, but alas, the other 99% overruled & won out. I spotted & then attempted a dive which turned into a really fabulous tumble.  In November of 2011, we asked jumpers to submit a photo that kept the spirit of Thanksgiving and this quote in mind:

His submission features his family, who was celebrating their first Christmas together in 5 years. As Rick put it, "That was a moment worth jumping." A wonderful JumpBecause story: Jump Because... For a Cause!
In June 2010, JumpBecause hosted a Potluck-for-a-Cause fundraiser to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. People brought amazing food, made fun crafts, participated in a raffle, and listened to great local music... and of course JUMPED! Check out the highlights of our fundraiser on the "Causes" page.
