__"Where'd the days go? When all we did was play And the stress that we were under wasn't stress at all Just a run and a jump into a harmless fall from Walking by a high-rise to a landmark square You see millions of people with millions of cares And I struggle to the train to make my way home I look at the people as they sit there alone." _"I'm a photographer and I live in Chubut-Patagonia, a place with beautiful beaches (among other landscapes). I had a very unusual photo shoot…with Young graduates…ufffff I didn’t knew what was going to happen but I made it alive!!! I had a hard time coming up with ideas for group photos…I draw a couple of the scenes, search the web (I didn’t find too much) and in the end, the kids knew what they wanted, a big jump!!!!" - Roxana Union Beach, Chubut, Argentina Be bold, Jump! 01/09/2012
_"Long have you timidly waded Holding a plank by the shore, Now I will you to be a bold swimmer, To jump off in the midst of the sea, Rise again, nod to me, shout, And laughingly dash with your hair." — Walt Whitman, from Song of Myself One and only bridge jump! 01/08/2012
"Jumping for the one and only day they allowed pedestrians on the bridge. I'm not really sure why we were all so excited about this, but it's the little things in life that make us want to jump :)" - Jenny Gary Clover bridge (aka "The Blue Bridge") Owensboro, Kentucky So let go, Jump in. 01/07/2012

_"I Jump Because..I feel free while I'm up in the air...no one can catch you." - Jacky Jump for joy and happiness, for fun and for love! Dance, Sisters, Me, Activities. Rancho Cucamonga, California The power of one, jump! 01/05/2012
_"The power of one is above all things the power to believe in yourself, often well beyond any latent ability you may have previously demonstrated. The mind is the athlete, the body is simply the means it uses to run faster or longer, jump higher, shoot straighter, kick better, swim harder, hit further, or box better." - Bryce Courtenay, The Power of One Honeymooner's Paradise Jump! 01/04/2012
"Jumping because I'm in a honeymooner's paradise with my new husband! (who took the picture)" - Jenny Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico "I am deathly afraid of heights. A fear of heights is primal and resides in your body defying logic. While I have no problem flying all over the world in planes of all sizes, anything that involves looking over a ledge is paralyzing to me... ...When we came to the zipline portion of the excursion, they asked that everyone who felt they might not be able to do it, to please go first, because they would have to drive us back. There were only two scaredy cats in the bunch, and I was one of them... ...When I got to the top a girl young enough to be my daughter, leaned in to me and said, 'You’re going to be okay.' I nodded silently. 'Your boys are looking up at you right now and you’re going to jump and they’re going to be so proud of you!' I was fighting back tears because I could hear them below shouting, 'We love you, Chicarita!' She finished clipping me to the line and said, 'I’m going to count you down and then you’re going to step off and fly. You just have to make me one promise, okay? I want you to keep your eyes open the whole way, it’s so beautiful and I don’t want you to miss a second.' I jumped off the platform full of fear and glided over treetops with my eyes open the whole way and the fading sound of my boys’ voices filling the distance with celebration at my small act of courage... ...That girl young enough to be my daughter, weighing no more than a pixie and working in the jungle is not so different from me after all. I create a space that is safe for people and help them harness the courage to jump and watch them fly. I locate their courage, guide them, and let them know that they have it in them even if their terrified or lost. I don’t cure diseases or solve world hunger, but I am able to help people fully realize their potential and overcome obstacles that impeded their success." -A.M. Houghtailing, Sept. 2011 Excerpt from 'Your Life's Work,' by Ann Marie Houghtailing, founder of The Millionaire Girls’ Movement, aiming to mentor girls to help them to culture their own successful careers. http://www.millionairegirlsmovement.com/2011/09/your-life%E2%80%99s-work/ Note: Bold and underlining above were added for emphasis _ New. Year. 01/01/2012
New. Year. New (adjective): having recently come into existence; beginning as the resumption or repetition of a previous act or thing; made or become fresh; different from one of the same category that has existed previously; of dissimilar origin and usually of superior quality Today is the first day of a new year, and the first day of the rest of life. Life is beautiful, ephemeral, and radiant. While the day itself is no different than many, the symbolic turning-over of a new leaf in the new year is a powerful cultural tradition. We honor the new year, 2012, with this post, and honor all the upcoming chances and opportunities that await us in the next 365. Being brave or comfortable in taking those chances, jumping in even if you're not sure how it all will turn out, may bring you to a whole new place, new passion, new perspective, or new frame of mind. Imagine a year down the road, 12/31/2012 New Year's Eve... what do you want to look back and be proud of from this year? What memories will you reflect fondly upon? We here at JumpBecause wish you all the best as you jump in and seize this year to be your own, and hope that in 2012 you will have many proud moments and lovely memories to reflect back upon. Many Cheers to you and your loved ones and Happy New Year! JB | Welcome to Jump Because!

A wonderful JumpBecause story: Jump Because... For a Cause!
