New (adjective): having recently come into existence; beginning as the resumption or repetition of a previous act or thing; made or become fresh; different from one of the same category that has existed previously; of dissimilar origin and usually of superior quality
Today is the first day of a new year, and the first day of the rest of life. Life is beautiful, ephemeral, and radiant. While the day itself is no different than many, the symbolic turning-over of a new leaf in the new year is a powerful cultural tradition. We honor the new year, 2012, with this post, and honor all the upcoming chances and opportunities that await us in the next 365.
Being brave or comfortable in taking those chances, jumping in even if you're not sure how it all will turn out, may bring you to a whole new place, new passion, new perspective, or new frame of mind.
