Memorial Day Jumps! 05/28/2008
CommentsWell, for Tim it was a bit easier cause he was holding my legs. And for me, what you see there is a look of utter elation and exhaustion. It ain't easy to do, but we trained for it on the sidewalks of the Fan as Tim and I competed in many wheelbarrow races around the city and gathered groceries for old ladies who had difficulty getting out of their homes.

Aaron, your face resembles that of a crazed British futbol fan. Tim, you look like an Olympic gymnast getting ready to land a 10-point vault. Jolly good jump, lads. Cheers!

If only the retired couple knew that only feet away from them, a feat mankind has never seen before was taking place, maybe they would have glanced your way.

His submission features his family, who was celebrating their first Christmas together in 5 years. As Rick put it, "That was a moment worth jumping." A wonderful JumpBecause story: Jump Because... For a Cause!
In June 2010, JumpBecause hosted a Potluck-for-a-Cause fundraiser to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. People brought amazing food, made fun crafts, participated in a raffle, and listened to great local music... and of course JUMPED! Check out the highlights of our fundraiser on the "Causes" page.
