Valentine's Day is in just a couple of weeks.
In the spirit of the holiday, you could jump for someone or something that you love!
We'd love to post your Valentine's Day jumps on Jump Because.

Here are some ideas:
- You could jump for that special person in your life!
- You could jump for that person who you wish could be your Valentine!
- You could jump for your friends!
- You could jump for your mom and dad!

Valentine's Day has a long history, dating back to 500 A.D. as an annual celebration of love and affection. While sometimes viewed as a "Hallmark Holiday," it doesn't have to be. In other words:

Jump Request: Jump for New Year's Resolutions!

We're halfway through January, which means that some of you are a couple of weeks into your New Year's Resolutions for 2011.  Did you know that the tradition of making New Year's Resolutions dates back to 153 B.C.? The Romans named the first month of the year after Janus, the god of beginnings and the guardian of doors and entrances. Janus is depicted with two faces, one on the front of his head and one on the back: he could look backward and forward at the same time! At midnight on December 31, the Romans imagined Janus looking back at the old year and forward to the new.
