This photo was sent in as a submission to February's Jump Because Challenge + Contest: Show Us Your Love! and has been chosen as the winner! Thank you to Ophelia for this lovely jump & story. _______________________________________________ Jump because story of Ophelia and Matthew"We met each other during last year of graduation. He was attending on social and NGO work but I was working on national defense and security. Two different paths. Four months later, he was sent to India for his first mission. I followed him without second thoughts. We were based in the south but we took few days to travel in North india. I was sick a couple days but the Taj Mahal could not be missed. This picture is our love, what we have shared together, all memories that we got together and the support that we provide each other. We finally stayed six months in India. It was 15 months ago. And you know what? We are now back to India, without return!"

This photo was sent in as a submission for our current Jump Because Challenge + Contest: Giving Thanks. In honor of Thanksgiving, Jump Because challenged you all to submit a jumping photo and a "jump because" story, keeping the spirit of Thanksgiving and this quote in mind: "We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures." -Thornton Wilder "I really appreciate this quote and particularly as a parent. Through the years I've endured countless parent-teacher conferences, bloody noses, hurt feelings, first loves, BB guns, flat bicycle tires, bugs in pockets, time outs, new drivers license, too many goodbyes, stomach aches, annual fashion trends, good grades/bad grades, long hair/short hair, missing tools, empty gas tanks, tattle tails, white lies, broken favorite toys, visits to the vice-principles office, loose teeth, bedtime stories, camping, Easter dresses, sunny days/cloudy days ... and laughs. Lots of laughs. My family makes me alive and my only regret is for the few times I haven't counted my blessings and my heart may have been temporarily "unconscious" of my treasures. Last Christmas we were all together for the first time in 5 years. That was a moment worth jumping." - Rick Salt Lake City, Utah If you would like to take part in this challenge, send your photos and stories to jumpbecause@gmail.com with a mention of the challenge/contest in the subject or e-mail._We will accept photo submissions to this contest through Monday, November 28, which is the Monday following the U.S. Thanksgiving. A twenty minute hike into the forest, there is this otherworldly waterfall and pool just waiting for friends to jump in and enjoy! My three friends and I fjorded a river and hiked through the rain forest just so we could spend an afternoon jumping off mossy green rocks into nature's most magnificent and relatively undiscovered pool." - Amber
