"So here's the skinny on this scenic leap:
Me and some friends were having a jolly ol' evening down by the beach (Spanish Banks, Vancouver if you must know) when the sunlight started to dwindle creating quite a sunset.... soft cool sand, a beautiful background, an acrobatic buddy and camera and flash at the ready, could there be a better time to jump? I should think not, and while you're in the air why not throw in a backflip for extra flair. So here's my favorite leap, hope you enjoy it."

Jump Because... For a Cause!

In March 2009, we posted a series of very special jumps: "Jump Because - For a Cause". These jumps were brought to JumpBecause by Virginia Commonwealth University undergraduates.
