With my wife and family overseas I am really getting bored to the point of regressing to childlike state (not that, that's very difficult for me!).  After browsing some youtube stuff I came across a website of some asian girl who takes a picture a day appearing to levitate by jumping in the air in some really cool and calm looking poses.

So basically it made me laugh to myself and pass a little time." - Steve

"This was taken back in 2006 while I was vacationing in Australia. I was with a couple of friends, Marco included, who was, and I believe still is, a very unquiet person! He is swiss and I'm from Brazil, and it's been sometime since we last talked. He's become a father already! Well, we were talking about many things that day, including how lucky we were for being there and having such a great time. Our motto there was: 'We are very lucky!' So, out of the blue he came up with the idea of making this photo. Since it can hurt a little, I had one shot, and that came out." -Luiz

"Basically, this photo was taken of my friend Gracie when we went to Apollo Bay together. I wanted to take some photos of her in this area of the beach just over a little stream with some rocks. It took about half an hour but we jumped from rock to rock to get across the water to this little island area. This was the final leap over water before reaching it and it was about a metre of water!

She was terrified and decided to just jump screaming. I call this her 'leap of faith' because it was like she let go of all her inhibitions after this we just spent an hour on this beautiful island of sand watching the sun set.

It reminds me of the fun we were having and the innocence of youth. I think that when you jump it's like losing yourself for a second. Everything seems frozen in time. Looking at this photo makes me feel so carefree and impulsive, and reminds me of the exhilaration you feel when you jump." -Veronica
