Trevor is a National Geographic young explorer and is competing against just one other person in their Expedition Granted Contest. Scientists estimate that there are only 250 to 300 Sumatran tigers left in the wild - making it one of the most endangered wild cats in the world. Panthera, the world's leading cat conservation organization believes the only way to save them is by stopping humans from killing them - this means we need strong anti-poaching programs.  In November of 2011, we asked jumpers to submit a photo that kept the spirit of Thanksgiving and this quote in mind:

His submission features his family, who was celebrating their first Christmas together in 5 years. As Rick put it, "That was a moment worth jumping." A wonderful JumpBecause story: Jump Because... For a Cause!
In June 2010, JumpBecause hosted a Potluck-for-a-Cause fundraiser to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. People brought amazing food, made fun crafts, participated in a raffle, and listened to great local music... and of course JUMPED! Check out the highlights of our fundraiser on the "Causes" page.
