In the spirit of the holiday, you could jump for someone or something that you love! We'd love to post your Valentine's Day jumps on Jump Because. Here are some ideas: - You could jump for that special person in your life! - You could jump for that person who you wish could be your Valentine! - You could jump for your friends! - You could jump for your mom and dad! Valentine's Day has a long history, dating back to 500 A.D. as an annual celebration of love and affection. While sometimes viewed as a "Hallmark Holiday," it doesn't have to be.  In November of 2011, we asked jumpers to submit a photo that kept the spirit of Thanksgiving and this quote in mind:

His submission features his family, who was celebrating their first Christmas together in 5 years. As Rick put it, "That was a moment worth jumping." A wonderful JumpBecause story: Jump Because... For a Cause!
In June 2010, JumpBecause hosted a Potluck-for-a-Cause fundraiser to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. People brought amazing food, made fun crafts, participated in a raffle, and listened to great local music... and of course JUMPED! Check out the highlights of our fundraiser on the "Causes" page.
